Project Presentation Day on 6th July, 2018
The S.I. Leadership Award welcomed applications from CUHK students and alumni who are interested in starting up or operating social enterprise/ social business. The winning projects will each receive a maximum of HK$100,000 (for Social Enterprise Track) and HK$80,000 (for Social Business Track) as seed funding. At last, three out of eight teams from the Social Enterprise Track were selected to receive the S.I. Leadership Award. They are We Wah Music音樂家，PhilHub and Part-time Grandchild- Intergenerational Support Platform.

S.I. Leadership Award 2018 Presentation Ceremony cum Yunus Social Business Seminar on 23rd July, 2018
“S.I. Leadership Award 2018 Presentation Ceremony cum Yunus Social Business Seminar” was conducted on the 23rd July, 2018. The event signified the launch of the “Yunus Social Business Centre@CUHK——Jockey Club Youth Programme” and had the honor to have Prof. Muhammad Yunus, Founder of Grameen Bank, Dhaka and Nobel Peace Laureate 2006, to present the S.I. Leadership Award. In the Yunus Social Business Seminar, Prof. Yunus, along with other honorable guests including Ms. Winnie Ying (Head of Charities, Grant Making – Youth, Education & Training, Poverty, The Hong Kong Jockey Club), Prof. Joseph Sung, (Co-Chairman of the Steering Committee for Promoting Personal Development through Social and Civic Engagement, CUHK) and Prof. Wong Hung (Director, Yunus Social Business Centre@CUHK) will share their thoughts and expectations towards youth participation in social business.
